Be it known that I, LED H. \\"ESE, a citizen of the United States, residi at New York city, in the county of New "ork und Stute of New York, have inv'gnted cex-tuin new und nsefnl Improvements in Union IT-ndergarments, of which the following is a specification.
'lhis invention relates to a union-suit undergarment. Garments of this type comprise a .shirt or body-part and the drawevs 01' Iegs-part eombined m one .suit.
One object cf the present invention is to: providc a uniomsuit whose front pieces of woven fabric shall be inelastic in the vertical direction, bat whose back shall' be elastic in the vertical direction: and anotlxer object is to proride meuns nt the shoulders und at the freut which shall be both elastic und also adjustable so u to make the garment easy to the wearer und also t0 adapt one garment for gersons cf difierent height.
