IMPRovEMl-:NT IN wlRE BRAcKE-rs.
Specification forming part of Letters Patent N o. 89,436, dated April 27, 1869.
To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, WILLARD W. RUSSELL, of Ludlow, in thezcounty of Vindsor and State of Vermont, have invented a new and useful `Wire Bracket, and wire-.clasp adjustment of the same to stove pipe or funnel, or other cylindrical object; and I do hereby declare that the following is a full, and clear, and exact description of the construction and operation of the same, reference being had to the annexed drawings and photograph making a part of this specification, in which- The letters A A A A represent the frame of the bracket; B B B B, the braces C, the loopclasp, passing around the pipe or cylinder; D D, the hook-and-eye fastening of the loopclasp; E E, the side clasps; F F F F, the iilling of the frame. G represents the clasp to be used instead of clasp E E on pipe, partly attened.
This bracket and clasp adjustment is designed for use upon stove-pipe or funnel, or other cylindrical object, and is made entirely of wire, and when adjusted will easily support a weight of sixty pounds, and is more especially designed for use on stove-pipe over a stove for placing articles upon for warming.
The frame of bracket is designated in photograph hereto attached, and drawing, by the letters A A A A. B B B B represent the braces, acting as a support to the frame C. The loop-clasp, passing around the pipe, funnel, or cylinder, is attached to the frame at D D by the hook-and-eye fastening. This clasp acts, with aid of the braces, to hold the bracket firmly to the pipe or cylinder. E E, the side clasp, holds the bracket-frame firmly in a horizontal position, and prevents the frame from tipping either Way. The Weight ofthe frame keeps it in place, and prevents its sliding down on the pipe or cylinder.
