This invention relates to fountain scrubhing brushes, and one ofthe principal objects ofv the same is to provide means whereby a quantity of water may be carriedby the brush and "fed to the bristles whenever required.

Another object of the invention is to provide a fountain scrubbing brush of simple construction which will be comparatively light in weight, will carry the required quantity of water, which may be immediately cut oil when required.

These and other objects may be attained by means of the construction illustrated in the accompanying drawing, in which.

Figure 1 is a perspective view of a fountain brus made in accordance with my invention. of the same. Fig. 3 is a sectional view on the line 3--3 of Fig. 2. Fig. 4 is a similar view on the line 44, Fig. 2.

Referring to the drawing for a; more specific description of my invention, the numeral 1 designates the brush head provided with suitable bristles 2 secured to said head. A handle extends through rings 4 and at its lower end is securedto the brush head by a screw 5.

From the foregoing it will be obviousthat a brush made in accordance with iny-inv'en tion, having the reservoir and fountain tube properly filled with water, will cover a large surface, and that the quantity of water to be fed to brush may be regulated by means of the valve or cook 1].

My invention is, of simple construction,

cannot readily get out of order, can be menufactured at low cost and is very elticient for its purpose.

A fountain brush comprisinga brush back provlded with bristles, a handle secured thereto, a reservoir connected to the brush handle, a fountaintube communicat ingwvith said reservoir, an outlet pipe provided with a cut-off valve, and a discharge tube provided with a series of nipples, said nipples passing through the brush back. 4
