TO ALL WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
Be it known that I, JAMES W001), of the city of Utica, in the county of Oneida, and State of .N ew York, have invented a new and useful Improved Serpentine Whiflle-Tree Hook; and I do hereby declare that the fol-- lowing is a. full, clear, and exact description of the construction and operation of the same, reference being had to the annexed drawings, making a part of the specification, in whichi Figure 1 and Figure 2 are perspective views, showing two difi'erent positionswhich the traces assume while the horses are backing. g Y

What I claim, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is v I The cap B, with the hook B cast or attached to it, both shaped and constructed as herein shown, and secured to the whifile-tree in the manner and for the purposes herein set forth and described.
