Be it known that I, JOHN DAVID BROWNE, of the city of Cincinnati, in the county of Hamilton, and State l of Ohio, have invented a new and useful Improvement in the Construction of Window-Sash Pulleys; and Ido declare that the following is a full, clear, and exact description of the construction of the same, reference being had to the annexed drawing, making part of this specification, in which- *l Figure 1 is a perspective View of the face-plate, with the improvements, having one side of the case attached to it.

The nature of my improvement consists in the mode of so forming the front or face-plate, by which means the drilling of the holes for the securing'the sides of the case to the face-plate, as hitherto done, is dispensed with, thus considerably reducing the cost of making. f

A. represents the face-plate, having the lugs a a cast on it, to which the side plates B are attached, to obvinte the necessity of drilling holes to receive the pins or rivets. What I claim, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, ius-v The recessed lugs a of the face-plate A, in combination with' the holding-pins or rivets of the case-plate B, in the manner substantially as described, and for the purpose set forth.
