T on whom it may concern:
Be it known thatI, WILLIAM ONEILL, residing at Dohile, Rathkeale, in the county of Limerick, Ireland, have invented a Saddle Attachment, of which the following is a specification.
My invention is a saddle attachment for lashing or urging horses. The use of it will urge a horse to go quick without causing him to swerve, as the whips in use at present do.
In the drawings, Flgure 1 is a side view of the device shown in its applied position to a saddle. Fig. 2 is a top plan view of the invention, and Fig. 3 is a perspective view of the complete attachment.
Referring to the drawings, No.1 is lash A, screw to hold whip; B, loop for whip to work on, so that it will not strike the horse always in the same place; 0, holder for end of whip.

A saddle attachment of the class described, comprising a supporting-frame provided at one end with a clasp for engagement with the saddle and at its other end formed with a vibrating spring member, a pull connection with said vibrating s ring member, and an independently lateral y swinging whip-holder having a pivotal connection at one end "with the vibrating member and carrying holding means for a whip.
