TO ALL WHOM IT MAY CONCERN Be it known that I, ISAAC N. SIiEnTs, of West J eerson, in the'county of Williams, and Sta-teef Ohio, have invented s. new and useful Improvement in Bed-Bottoms; and I do hereby declareI that the following is a' full and exact description thereof, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, and tothe letters of reference marked thereon.

The short strips D erehinged to the bar F, so as to be elevated, asseen in. g. 3, aud-held in this position x by props, P, which aremade to fold down when'these slats are lowered. Thisis important'for invalida, who y often want to rest in a reclining position.
MyI improved bed-bottom is thus made very elastic, yet strong and durable. 'I do not broadly claim' the tension-spring, or other devices, but limit my claims to the 'combinations specified.
