STO ALL WHOM IT MAY CON CERN Beit known that I, Mrs. LOIS A'. COLLARD, of Plainview, in the county vof Wabashaw, end in the State of Minnesota, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Quilting-Frames and do hereby declare that 'the following is a full, clear, nud exact description thereof, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, and to thellett'ers of reference marked thereon.
In the annexed drawings, forming part of this specification;

The nature of my invention consists in providing'the sides and legs of a quilting-frame with hinges, in such a-manne'r that it can be folded up, and not take up so n mch room or space when not in use.
To enable others skilled in -the art to make end use my invention, I will proceed to Adescribe its construction and operation. l
I construct myfrmne ofuny kind of wood that may be desired, with two long andV two short sides', and with one leg under each corner. The two -Iong sides A are pivoted -in the smaller sidesB, andere provided f -in one-end 'wth a cogged wheel, whichwheelfholds the sides A steady by a. pawl' fastened in thex short side B. All the four sides are divided in the centre, and attached together on one sidelwith `hinges ,forithe purpose of l v folding them. When the frame is to be used, the sides will Vb e fastened by means 'of a pin runnin'g'through` i' will occupy very little space,
Having thus fully described my invention, what I claim as new, anddesire to secure by Letters Patent, is` Y The ccinbinatiouof 'the 'hinge-d sides A A andA their cogs, with the four hinged legs B B,- having two staples -on eachfthrough which passes a.4 pin, as vand for the purposes set forth.
