Be it known that I, FREDERICK A. STOHLMANN, oiIBrooklyn', in the county of Kings, and State of New York, have invented and madera. eel-tain vnew and seiul Improvement in TrussPads; and do hereby declaro .the followingto be a full, clear, and exact description of the said invention, reference being had to the annexed drawing, making part of this speeioation, \vhereinV i Figure 1 is a. view of the face of the pad.

It is reveil-known fact 4that most Vkinds of hernia can be the most comfortably supported by thc'humnn hand, because the fingers give an inward yielding pressure, and accommodate themselves to the movements of the body with much greater facility than 'the rigid pads heretofore usually employed.
The nature of my said invention consists in a. truss-parl formed with fingers in' imitation ofthe human hand,
the same being provided with springs in the fingers, and with padding to give a. soft surface to the pad; and I attach the pad to the truss-spring in such a manner that the pad may be placed at any desired ongle thereto:

What I claim, and desire to secure by .Letters Patent, is A truss-pad, formed with spring-fingers, padded and attached' to the truss-spring, as land for the purposes setiorth.
