SPECIFICATION forming part of Letters Patent No. 750,446, dated January 26, 1904.
Application filed October 8, 1903.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, JOHN P. FRANK, a citizen of the United States, residing at Danville, in the county of Boyle and State of Kentucky, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Skids; and I do hereby declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the invention, such as will enable others skilled in the art to which it appertains to make and use the same.
. This invention relates to skids for moving boxes, barrels, and other objects in stores, warehouses, and other places; and it consists. in the novel construction and combination of the parts hereinafter fully described and claimed;
In the drawings, Figure 1 is a side view of the skid. Fig. 2 is a plan view of the skid.
The skid is formed of two metallic runners A A, arranged parallel with each other for their full length where they bear upon the floor in their normal position, and cross-pieces B secured at intervals between the two runners. The front ends O of the runners are curved upward, so that they may slide easily over slight projections on the 'floor. The rear end portions D of the runners are curved and pointed, and they are also curved outwardly, as shown in Fig. 2, so that the pointed ends of Serial No. 176,194. (No model.)

2. In a skid, the combination, with two runners having upwardly-curved front ends and curved and pointed rear end portions which are also curved outwardly, of crossbars which hold the main portions of the said runners parallel with each other.
