Vania, have invented a new and useful Bag-Holding Device and Truck; and I do hereby declare that the following is a full; clear, and exact description of the construction aud'operation ofthe saine, l:wafer-ence being had to the annexed drawings, making apart of this specification, inv which- Figure 1 is a perspective view.

B B, the anged or slotted'jaws, are placed over the inside of the bars of the truck-frameA A, being held in position by rod D, there being a socket in one ofI the slotted jaws, with screw-thread through the other, corresponding to the rod, so that the'jaws may be adjustedr with any degree of tensionto the frame of the truck by turning the rod. The dove-tail notches in BVB receive the angular frame C through its notches; when pushed past the'notches to its centre is irln-ly held in position; lspring E, when riveted to the outer face of the slotted jawsand set with a pressure to work against the fram'e, holding the jaws at any position they may be placed on the frame of the truck.v
What I laim, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-
The construction of the Banged or slotted jaws B B, clamping-rod D, and springE, with the angular frame C, in combination with the truckframe A, all arranged and operating as and for the purpose herein described.
