This invention'relates to a' combination of drying-slats, iods, or wires, with apeculiarlyconstructed frame, arranged and adapted to ft agninstthe side and ceiling'walls of a room, a cord und sheaves being used tornise or lower the dryinglframe, or to -draw it up out of the Way when not in nse.
To enable those skilled in the art to make'and use my improved drier, I-will proceed to describe its construction and operation. Y

The frame A-A is constructed s'o'as to fit up against the side wall and ceiling of a room, where it-maybe hung up by means of hooks, or nailed fast permanently. The drying-framoB, formed of tn'orails, bhand cross-slots, iodsQor Wires 12', is hinged to the vertical framev A at a,' so as to be raised or ldneredby means of the cord C, which presses over` a sheave, c, attachedv to the forward p'art of. the frame A. While the clothes are on the frame drying, or when it is not'in use, the said frame B will be drawn np by the cord C, as shown in A y Vtheldmwings; but when the clothes are to be put on, the frame may belet down to a convenient position by the same cord C.
