IMPROVEMENT III-CARDS FOR BOOKS AND EYES.
TO ALL WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
Be itknoivn that I, MALTBY FOWLER, of Northford, in the county of New Haven, and State of Connecticut, have invented u new and improved Card for Hooks and Eyes; and I do hereby declare that the following is a.
',full, clenr, and exuct description thereof, which will enable others skilled in the art to make and use the same,
reference being hud to the accompanying drawings, forming part of this specification.
The present invention relates to a. card more especially intended for hooks and eyes,` although it can be used for other and various articles; und the invention consists in so puncturing such cards for receivingithe hoks and eyes that a tongue-piece will be left in such punctures, whereby the hooks and eyes, when passed through the said punctures, will be rmly, securely, and tightly held, as will be obvious from the following detail description of the card, reference being had to theacoompunying plete of drawings, in which- Figure 1 is a. plan or top view of4 the card, and
Figure 2 a transverse section, taken in the plane of the linea: z, lig. 1.
