Tosti. wHoM 1T MAY coNcE1`tN=` i Be it known that we, WILLrAuRosnNxnASz and VMtonsL Esca, of St. Paul, in the county of Ramsey, and;V
State of Minnesota, have invented a new and improvedefrigerator; and' we do hereby declare that the follow ing is a full, clear, and exact description thereof, which will enable others skilled in the-art to make and usc the same,` reference being' had tothe accompanying drawings, forming part ofithis specification, in which- Figure 1 represents a vertical' central section of our improved refrigerator.
Figure 2 is a horizontal section of the same, taken on the line x z, iig. 1.

This iuvegition relates to a. new device for cooling liquids in bottles, said device being so constructed that any one bottle can be easily taken out and replaced, and so thata constant stream of cold water is made to circulate in the apparatus.
The invention consists, first, in the construction and arrangement of a cylindrical vertical waterftank within said tank being provided with a feed .and an -overiow-pipc, through which a constant circulation of cold water is kept up .in the tank by means'of a pump, which is operated by vclock-work, and which takes the water from a reservoir which is arranged below the refrigerator, and in which a. suiicient quantity of ice 'is kept for keeping the water as cool as necessary. The invention consists, second, in the arrangement around the aforesaid tank of an annular support for bottles. and other articles, the said support resting u ponrollers insuch :t manner that it can easily, be revolved around the tank.u The' lowerparts of the bottles tit into reces-ses provided in this support, andare thuslrmly held. By opening the door in the outer casing of the refrigerator, and by turning the aforesaid annular support, any
said support, for holding the small brokeniice used ator. A drawer is arranged in the refrigerator below the drawer mny'alsoaid to keep by restaurants. The coverofthe said draweris perforated, so that the ice in the the contents of the bottles cool.
This inventionV will be particularly useful for restaurants kinds of liquids, and who find i-t to ltheir interest to have these liquids kept cool and fresh. v
A represents the cylindrical casing of a refrigerator, which is made of two layers of sheet metal, between which paper or other non-conducting material is arranged. B is the cover, and C the bottom of the cylinder, muy be arranged below the bottom C, for
d in the cylinder A. Upon it rests an upright cylinand all persons who have to use or handle di'crcnt supporting the refrigerator. is a. false bottom arrange y der, E, the sides'of which reach to the cover B, us shown. F is n pipe, which leads through the bottoms vC and D into the central cylinder E, and through whichice-watcr ils pumped into the cylinder E by means of a self actingr pump, (which is not shown.) G is n pipe, which also extends from the waterreservoir to the upper `part ofthe tank E, through which the water in the tank flows olf after'reaohing th I) is perforated between the walls of E and A. His n, drawer, which is arranged between the bottoms C andD, and
which is to bc lled with small ice, by which, as well as by the water in the tank E, the annular space J outside which fits into Vthe chamber J, und'to the under side of evolved around the tank E. Holes are lsuch revolving rings may be arranged, urse provided below each ring. K is a 'which rollers b Z1V are secured, as shown, so that the said. ring I can be r ,provided in the ring I for holding bottles, as shown. Any' number of door in the casing A, for giving access to the chamber J.
What we claim sa new,'and desire tc secure by Letters Patent, is- The tank E, when arranged as herein shbwn and described, false bottom D. revolving ring I, and case A of a refrigerator, all'4 made substantially as set forth.
The above specification of our invention signed by us this secondday of April, 1867.
