My invention is limited to a belt which includes the following specifications: first, a separate article from the garment in connection with which it is to be used; second, it is com posed of two parts connected to each other at the rear and having relative movement; third, the inner ends lie under the belt proper and have means of fixture to the garment, and, fourth, the forward ends are free from the garment and have means of attachment to each other. I hereby disclaim any strnctu re not em ploy ing all of these features in combination and limit myself to such a combination. Having thus described/my invention, the

following is what I claim as new therein and desire to secure by Letters Patent:

l. A belt composed of two parts connected to one another by a sliding connection, said parts having means of detachably securing same to a garment at their inner and smaller ends as described, and the outer ends provided with means of attachment to each other.

2. A belt arranged to be detachably conneeted to a garment, consisting ot' two parts or pieces adj nstably seen red to each other and having their inner and smaller ends located beneath or under the belt for the purposes set forth, and an adjustable fastener for securing the other ends to one another.
