State of Vermont, have invented a new und Improved Mop-Head; and we do hereby declare thnt the following is a. full, clear,'and exact description thereof, which will enableothers skilled in the art to make and use thev same, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, 'forming pnrt of this specification.
This invention relates to a new and improved mop-head of that class in which riscrew and nut are` employed for operating the movable jaw.v The lobject'ot the ihventionis to obvinte two dillicultie's, to wit: first, the slow movement of the movable jaw in securing the mop-cloth in the head and in detaching it' therefrom; and, second, the liability of fracturing the nut in connecting the movable jnw thereto, contingencies attending the construction of the ordinary mop-heads of this class.
