IMPROVED METHOD OF PRESERVING FLOUR, GRAIN, 84C.
To all whom it may concern Be it known that I, JOSEPH GARL1N,of Gincinuati, Hamilton county, Ohio, have invented a new and useful Flour and Grain Preserver; and I do hereby declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description thereof, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, making part of this specification.
This invention consists in the provision of balls or blocks of unglazedpottery or like po-` rous material in barrels, bins, or other receptacles of Hour and grain for the purpose of absorbing their superfluous moisture, so as to preserve them from souring, molding, and fermentation.

I claim herein as new and of my invention- The mode of preserving our und' grain from sourin g by suspending masses of un glazed pottery, or its equivalent, within the barrel, bin, or other receptacle, substantially us set forth.
