PORTABLE WASHING APPARATUS.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Letters Patent No. 564,878, dated July 28, 1896.
Application led .Tune 1, 1896. Serial No. 593,814. (No model.) Patented in Germany J'une 12, '1895,No. 87,881.
. apparatus to be carried in the pocket which can be used for preventing infection, for wounds, foot-sores, galling, dro.
Figure 1 is a front view, Fig. 2 a side view, and Fig. 3 a sectional drawing, of the apparatus.
The apparatus substantially consists of a bottle a, filled with an antiseptic liquid, and the two closures b and h. Closure b is' provided with a washer d and a stopper c, while the other closure serves t0 hold a sponge f pressed together.
The apparatus can be conveniently carried in the pocket, for which purpose the bottle is of a'shape which is adapted to the body.
The apparatus is used by unscrewing the cap h, taking out the sponge j", which, after removal of the stopper c, is imbued with the antiseptic liquid and used for Washing the wound or sore place.
What I claim is- A washing apparatus which can be carried in the pocket, consisting of the combination of a bottle a filled with an antiseptic liquid, with the closures b and h, of which the one b contains a washer d and a'stopper c, the other one h serving to hold a sponge f, substantially as and for the purpose set forth.
