To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, OHAELEs B. MACNEAL, a citizen of the United States, residing at Philadelphia, county of Philadelphia, and State of Pennsylvania, have invented a Puzzle, of
which the following is a specification, due referenoe being had to the accompanying drawing, forming a part thereof.
My invention relates to a puzzle in which a bell or a like article is suspended over the central inside portion of a boxin which are small globular objects the end sought being the working out or accomplishing of a certain predetermined result.
My inventionconsists of a round or other form of box furnished with small globular objects. Said box being provided with a device forming an elevation over its central inv side portion, from which is suspended a bell or a similararticle for a purpose presently explained. r
The object of my invention is to sohandle the box that the globular objects contained therein may be caught under the suspended article employed.
In the drawing, my puzzle is well shown by 7 one view, the accompanying drawing being deemed necessary to fully illustrate my invention.
The several parts in the drawing are indicated bynumerals;
ever found'and with reference to the same 1, is a box'preferably circular in form.
2, are parts of the device forming the elevation over the inside central portion of the box.
3 is the appendage suspending the bell 4, from the device forming the elevation, and 5 are the small globular objects of which two are shown.
A puzzle of the character described is interesting and amusing, is cheap and simple in construction and affords a wide range to the fancy of the manufacturers in that many details of construction may be varied without departing from the spirit of the invention or the true scope thereof.
