Be it known that I, HOWARD M. PAUL, a citizen of the United States, residing at .Philadelphia, in the county of Philadelphia and State of Pennsylvania, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Boot-Pullers, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings.
My invention relates to improvements in devices for pulling off boots and other articles of footwear from the foot of the wearer; and an object of my invention is to provide an article of this character which will be simple in construction, cheap in manufacture, and eificient in operation.
In the drawings illustrating the principle of my invention and the best mode now known to me of applying that principle, Fig ure 1' is a side elevation of my new bootpuller, an article of footwear being shown therein in dotted lines. Fig. 2 is a plan View of my new boot-puller, and Fig. 3 is a front view of the same.

I claim- As a new article of manufacture, a bootpuller made up ofa single rod of metal the body portion of which is V-shaped; the ends of the body portion being bent vertically downward to form legs and the extremities of the rod being bent to form feet lying in a plane substantially parallel to the plane of the V-shaped body portion, and flaring outwardly from the lower end of said legs; said Patented March 12, 1907.
