3 1 \i-\ 0/ a 05 i UNITED STATES PATENT OFFICE.
IIUGO R. IVENDEL, OF HARRISBURG, PENNSYLVANIA.
FLY-PAPER HOLDER.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Letters Patent No. 468,273, dated February 2, 1892.
Application filed September 30, 1891- Serial No. 407.351. (No model. I
To aZZ whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, HUGO R. WVENDEL, a citizen of the United States, and a resident of Harrisburg, in the county of Dauphin and State of Pennsylvania, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Fly-Paper Holders; and I do declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the invention, such as will enable others skilled in the art to which it appertains to make and use the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, and to letters of reference marked thereon, which form a part of this specification.
Figure 1 of the drawings is a perspective View, and Fig. 2- is a side view with legs or supports.
This invention has relation to means for holding sticky fly-paper; and it consists in the novel construction and combination of parts, as hereinafter specified.
In the accompanying drawings, the letter A designates the stand or holder, which is preferably formed of wire, and comprises a base or frame (shown as of rectangular form) supporting at each corner a post B. The upper end of each said post is bent or turned horizontally in a direction parallel with the length of the frame and has secured thereto a pivoted clamp 0, having pivoted clamping-jaws c 0. These clamps are designed to hold each one corner of a sheet F of fiy-paper.
If desired, the frame or base may be supported upon legs g g, &c. (Shown in Fig. 2.)
This stand or holder may be given an orna-' mental form or configuration and forms a neatand convenient means for the purpose for which it is designed.
Having described this invention, what I claim, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, 1s
1. The fly-paper holder comprising the base or frame supporting a series of posts, each of which is provided with a clamping device, substantially as specified.
2. A fiy-paper holder comprising a frame or base supported upon legs and supporting a series of posts carrying each at their upper end a clamping device, substantially as specified.
In testimony whereof I aflix my signature in presence of two witnesses.
HUGO R. \VENDEL.
