To all whom z'tmay concern.-

Be it known that I, STEPHEN S. HARMAN, a citizen of the United States, and a resident of the city, county, and State of New York, have invented a new and useful Improvement in Devices for Stringing and Carrying Fish, of which the followingis a specification.

The toggle is provided With aloop or loops, through which the needle, is passed, thus forming a handle convenient for carrying the fish that have been strung.

In the drawings, Fig. 1, A represents the toggle, the purpose of which is to prevent the fish from sliding off the string F after being skewered bythe needle D, which is securely fastened to the string by the eye 0. The toggle A is provided Withthe loop B, (in the drawing I have shown two loops,which Ipreferably use,) through which the needle D passes. 2. In a device for stringing and carrying fish, a chain or string having on one end a skewing-needle and on the other toggle-bar with. a loop or loops formed upon it, through .WhlCll the skewing-needle may be passed,

thus forminga handle for the string, as herein set forth and described.

3. In a device for stringing fish, a skewingneedle of an undulated form, in combination with a string or chain and a toggle with a loop or loops upon it adapted to engage the needle, as herein set forth. 7
