In the accompanying drawings, A A are links which are made in cup form, and preferabl y provided with an inwardly,- turned flange, a, and also having at their opposite ends the slotopenings l) I), which are adapted to receive the arms 0 0 of the intermediate connect ing-links, B B, the said links B being prefer (N0 model.)
of the said end of the link, as shown in Fig. 4.
The two opposite arms 0 c of the connectinglink are then inserted into the end slot, b, of another cup formed link A, and likewise spread outwardly, thus connecting the two adjoining eup-formed links A A to each other, and the continued interlocking ofthe said eupformed and connecting-links will serve to form the desired length of ornamental chain, which is especially adapted for making bracelets, but which may be used for various purposes.
I claim as my invention'* An ornamental chain composed of an alternating series of cup-formed links and barlinks, the cup-formed links being provided with the end openings and the intermediate bar-links provided with the oppositely-pro jecting arms, which enter the openings in the cup-formed links and are bent into holding engagement therewith, substantially as described.
