Description
UNITED STATES PATENT OFFICE.
MARTIN BISHOP, OF TVASHINGTON, DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA.
IMPROVED COMBINATION 0F FUEL-BOX AND WASHING APPARATUS WITH SETTEES.
Specification forming part of Letters Patent No. 35,210, dated May 13, 1862.
To all whom, it may concern:
Be it known that I, MARTIN BISHOP, of Tashing'ton city, in the District of Columbia, late of Latayette, Indiana, have invented a new and Improved Mode of Constructing a Combined Settee, Fuel-Repository, and Washstand; and I do hereby declare that the following is a full and exact description thereof, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, making part ot this specification, and being a perspective view of my invention.
To enable others skilled in the art to make hand end for coal, lined inside with zinc or any other sheet metal; also an aperture and gate, a, through which coal can be taken with a small `lire-shovel.
Letter C shows a compartment for Wood, kindlings, dac.
Letter D shows a compartment for a Washstand, &c.
The seat F to the set-tee forms the lid to cover these different compartments by beinghung with hinges, in Whole or in parts, to the back side.
Having thus described my invention, I claim as new and desire to secure by Letters Patent i As a new article of manufacture, a combined settee, fuel-repository, and Washstand, constructed and arranged as herein drawn and described.
