To all whom it may concern-.-
Be it known that I, GEORGE E. POTTER, a
citizen of the United States, residing at Paliner, in the county of Hampden and State of Massachusetts, have invented new and useful Improvenientsin Blind-Operating Apparatus, of whichlthe following is'ga specification.
This invention relates to improvements in window-blindoperating devices adapted to be operated fromv the Ainterior of a building, the object being toiniprove. the details of the construction of such apparatus, as hereinafter set forth. y
In the drawings forming part of this speciiication, Figure 1 is a plan view representing, partly in section, a portion of a building at the corner of a window, and a part of a blind hinged thereto, and having connected with thenlatter blind-operating devices embodying my invention. Fig. 2 is a similar view to Fig. l, but showing the position ol" the operating devices when the blind is opened. Fig. 3 is a side elevation, partly in section, of a portion of a building inside of and near the window.

To operate the blind b from within the house, the following-described devices are employed: A metallic or other suitable bar, d2, having a handle, d', thereon, is inserted in a passage through the wallof the building and one leaf of hinge c, or a suitable metal guide-plate.
