SPECIFICATION forming part of Letters Patent No. 26,33 2, dated October 9, 1883.

To LZ whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, PAUL RUEFANI, of the city of Dresden, in the Kingdom of Saxony, and `German Empire, have invented certain newr and useful Improvements in Card Stands or Holders, of which the following is a speciilly invention relates to improvements in card stands or holders for holding photographs, cards, price-lists, bills of fare, and other cards in an almost vertical position, as will hessen from the accompanying drawings.

In the said drawings, Figure l is aperspective View of my improved stand with an open angular base or foot. Fig. 2 is a perspective view of the same with a base in the form of a cross.; and Fig. 3 is a similar View, showing the stand provided with a ring-like circular hase. Thebase or foot may he of any con# 2o venient form, the three figures being designed to illustrate as may different shapes.l

My said card stand or holder consists of three, four, or more cornered, cross, oval, or annular feet, j', with tWo bent-up arms. The smaller arm s is formed by cutting or stamping the same out of the broader arm s. The photographs, cards, and such like to be held are inserted between these two arms, and are firmly clasped in the same;-

Having now described my said invention for improvements in card stands or holders and the manner in which the same is to or maybe other.
