GRAIN-ADJUSTING BEL T FOR HARVESTERS.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Letters Patent No. 260,889, dated July 11, 1882.
Application filed November 7, 1881. (ModeL) To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, SALATIIIEL' 1. NORTH- CUTT, a citizen of the United States, residing in the county of Marion and State of Oregon, have invented a new and useful Grain-Adjusting Belt for Harvesters, which is fully set forth in the following specification and accompanying drawing, which is a general view of my device.
The belt is constructed of ordinary leather.
B B B are sole-leather strips, fastened with copper rivets and clout-nails on the grain side A of the belt. The inside F is provided with strips D D D, extending the whole length of the belt, and having buckles O (J. The belt is also furnished with lacing-strings E E, for extra fasteningwhen buckled together.
