Guides "I are mounted on the side walls of the casing 3 and slidable in said guides is a. pair of spaced, parallel ,rods 8 which extend slidably 5 i through the rear wall of said casing 3 and have secured therebetween a handle 9. On the inner ends of the rods 8 is an arcuate clamp I0 having an opening II therein of substantially the shape shown to advantage in Figure 4 of the 10 drawings, Coil springs I2 encircle the rods 8 and have one end engaged with collars I3 on said rods for yieldingly urging the clamp I0 toward the adjacent front end wall of the casing 3 for clamping the bottles therebetween, as at i4. The bottles I4 are inserted neck first in the casing 3 through an opening I5 in the forward end portion of the top I6 of said casing. Slidable beneath the top I6 is a closure I'I for the opening I5. The closure Il is actuated through the medium of a button I8 which is operable in a longitudinal slot i9 provided therefor inthe top i6.

The reference numeral 23 designates a. hand lever which is pivotally mounted, at an intermediate point, as at 24, on the rear end wall of the casing 3, said lever extending throughA an opening 25 which is provided therefor in said rear end wall. At its inner end, the hand lever 23 is operatively connected by links 26 to the arm 22. 35
Brieiiy, the operation of the invention is subs'tantially as follows The-closure II is slid to open position. es indicated in broken lines in Figures 1 and 2 of the drawings, for permitting the insertion of the bot- -40 tlesl neck rst downwardly through the opening i5. The clamp Itis, of course, retracted a the tension of the coil springs I2 through the `medium of the handle 8. However, when the insertion is being made the bottle may be simplv -forced downwardly to the'desired position be tween the clamp IB and the forward end wall of the casing s where said bottle is frictionauy s cured by saidfclamn The l1 is thenmoved to closed position after which 4tlie outer 5o end of the hand lever Ilis swung downwardly for actuating the hammer 2l, said hammer pwing through theopening II in the clamp IO and striking the bottle with sumcient force to thorby gravity through the opening 4 into the container l. The container i may, of course, be
conveniently emptied when desired by simply removing the casing 3 therefrom. The construction and arrangement of the hammer 2l, lever 23,l
