Thus my invention in no way detracts from the use of the usual seat and cover. The ordinary,
hinges Joining the ordinary seat and cover, operate in the usual manner. The small seat and its frame form a smooth back rest. v
My invention may also be constructed by making a Icover of wood or other suitable material and of the usual size and shape but of greater thickness.
A small seat with an opening of a size suitable for children'may be separately constructed in' the usual manner of making toilet seats. The wood or other material may then be routed out from the inner side of the cover, to make space of a size, shape and depth to allow the small seat to ilt into this space in cover. vThe cover 2 is of sumcient thickness to allow the routing without cutting through its upper or outer surface.
'Ihe center of the inner side of the cover is left in place and is so shaped as to nt into the hole or opening in the small seat 4, thus forming an inner framework when the small seat I is in place in cover 2. 'I'he material near the outer edge of large cover 2 is also left in place and forms an outer frame for small seat I, except the lower seat I.
I claim: A l.
