- a sensor/detection means provided on the coffee machine detects this identifier and compares it preferably with a stored identifier.
- the coffee machine in particular the water-providing pressure pump will only be activated, if the detected identifier matches the reference identifier. Otherwise, the coffee machine will not start operating.

- the golf ball-like structure imparts increased stiffness to the basic element of the portion capsule while maintaining the same material thickness.
