  • the set thicknesses (the outer cover 111 and the outer support plate 113 ) of the male cover 110 might be in a range of 1 mm to 3 mm, and they might be different depending on the strength and durability of the materials.
  • the female cover 130 is shaped like a block which is formed of a hexagonal inner cover 131 having a certain set thickness and a rectangular inner support plate 133 (as shown in FIG. 2 ) having a certain set thickness, and the inner side of the female cover 130 is passed through.
  • the female cover 130 has features in that the inner cover 131 and the inner support plate 133 are smaller than the outer cover 111 and the outer support plate 113 (at least one among the height, width and length) so that it can be slide-inserted into the passing-through inner side of the male cover 110 .
  • the female 130 might be integrally formed by way of the casting method like the male cover 110 , and it might be prefabricated by attaching two inner support plates 133 at both sides of the inner cover 131 formed of two sheets using an adhesive.
  • the female cover 130 might be made from various flexible materials such as wood, paper or plastic, and on an outer surface exposed to the outside can be painted in various colors and can be formed a character, a shape, a pattern or a logo.
  • the set thickness (the inner cover 131 and the inner support plate 133 ) of the female cover 130 might be in a range of 1 mm to 3 mm, and such ranges might change depending on the strength and durability of the materials.
  • the lid part 150 is shaped like a block which is engaged at an end portion of the pencil casing 100 by way of a hinge 151 in an operable way.
  • the lid part 150 comes into close contact with the male cover 110 positioned at the outer most portion in a state that stationery such as a pencil, a ball point pen, etc. is stored, not randomly coming out, and it is constructed in a structure which can be easily open when the stationery is inputted into or is pulled out of the pencil case 100 .
  • the lid part 150 might be provided in a rectangular plate shape having a certain set size big enough to block the space formed passing through the inner side of the male cover 110 .
  • the male cover 110 is cut with respect to a perpendicular surface, and a hinge is engaged at a cut-away cross section, so the outer side block of the cut male cover 110 can be used as a lid part 150 .
  • the lid part 150 can be engaged at the outer most male cover 110 in an opening and closing way by way of various engaging members such as a magnet, an adhering band, etc. in addition to the hinge.
  • the sealing part 170 is shaped like a block positioned at the other end of the pencil case 100 and can be provided in the same type, material and size as the male cover 110 ; however its one outer end exposed to the outside should be sealed so that a writing instrument such as pencils and an eraser accommodated in the interior of the pencil case 100 do not fall down freely.
  • the sealing part 170 is configured to prevent the stationery accommodated in the interior of the pencil case 100 by way of the lid part 150 open at an end portion of the pencil case 100 from falling toward the other end of the pencil case 100 by way of the male cover 110 and the female cover 130 the interiors of which are passed through.
  • the sealing part 170 might be made in such a way that the outer end of the male cover 110 or the female cover 130 is sealed using the same or different material plates or the like or it might be made in such a way that the outer end can be blocked using a casting method, which is separate from the male cover 110 or the female cover 130 .
  • FIGS. 5 and 6 are perspective views illustrating a male cover 110 and a female cover 130 which form the pencil case 100 according to a first embodiment of the present invention, of which FIG. 5 is a view illustrating a construction before the male cover 110 and the female 130 are engaged, and FIG. 6 is a view illustrating a construction after the male cover 110 and the female cover 130 are engaged.
  • FIG. 7 is a cross sectional view illustrating a construction that a male cover 110 and a female cover 130 are engaged (when cutting away in the direction A-A of FIG. 6 ).
  • the male cover 110 comprises at least one rotation shaft member 115 protruded in the inward direction
  • the female cover 130 comprises at least one rotation shaft engaging hole 135 formed at a matching position so that the rotation shaft member 115 can be slide-engaged.
  • the male cover 110 comprises an outer cover 111 , an outer support plate 113 and a rotation shaft member 115 , and more specifically, it represents a block the inner side of which is passed through, while comprising a rotation shaft member 115 protruded from the inner sides of the upper and lower outer covers 111 and 112 and the outer cover 111 , and an outer support plate 113 supporting the outer cover 111 at the left and right end portions.
  • the outer cover 111 is a hexagonal cover part having a predetermined set thickness and forms part of the upper and lower sides of the pencil case 100 and is divided into an upper outer cover 111 positioned at the upper side with respect to the outer support plate 113 , which will be described later, and a lower support plate 12 positioned at the lower side.
  • the upper outer cover 111 might be formed of the cover part formed in various shapes having various shapes such as a pentagonal shape including a hexagonal shape.
  • the outer support plate 113 is a rectangular support part having a certain set thickness and forms part of the side surface of the pencil case 100 , and one end and the other end of the same are fixed at the end portions of the upper outer cover 111 and the lower outer cover 112 , thus supporting the male cover 110 at a certain set height.
  • the outer cover 111 and the outer support plate 113 might be integrated by way of a casting method or the like and might be in various shapes such as a triangle shape, a square shape, a hexagonal shape, etc. in addition to a rectangular shape as long as it has a support function.
  • At least one rotation shaft member 115 is formed at the inner sides of the outer covers 111 and 112 of the upper and lower sides of the male over 110 and is shaped like a cylindrical protrusion having a certain set thickness.
  • the male cover 110 of the pencil case 100 according to a first embodiment of the present invention comprises two rotation shaft members 115 at the inner side of the upper outer cover 111 and two rotation shaft members 115 at the inner side of the lower outer cover 112 .
  • the rotation shaft member 115 is rotatable in the clockwise direction or the counterclockwise direction in a state that it is engaged to a rotation shaft engaging hole 135 which will be described later.
  • the rotation shaft member 115 might be integrally provided when manufacturing the male cover 110 or it might be manufactured by way of a process that it is bonded to the previously manufactured male cover 110 .
  • rotation shaft member 115 is protruded from the inner side of the outer cover 111 , instead it might be protruded from the inner side of the outer support plate 113 .
  • the rotation shaft engaging hole 135 should be formed at a set position where to engage with the rotation shaft member 115 .
  • rotation shaft member 115 and the rotation shaft engaging hole 135 might be provided in various sizes, types and numbers as long as the male cover 110 and the female cover 130 can be engaged in the clockwise direction and the counterclockwise direction in a state that it is engaged.
  • the female cover 130 comprises an inner cover 131 , an inner support plate 133 and a rotation shaft engaging hole 135 , and more specifically, it represents a block the inner side of which is passed through while comprising upper and lower inner covers 131 and 132 having rotation shaft engaging holes 135 , and an inner support plate 133 supporting the inner cover 131 at the left and right ends portions.
  • the female cover 130 is slide-inserted into the interior of the passed-through male cover 110 , and the rotation shaft member 115 is engaged to the rotation shaft engaging hole 135 , so the body of the pencil case 100 is formed, and the pencil case 100 is formed by the lid part 150 of one end and the sealing part 170 of the other end.
  • the inner cover 131 is a hexagonal cover part having a certain set thickness and forms the upper and lower sides of the pencil case 100 along with the outer cover 111 , and it is divided into the upper inner cover 131 positioned at the upper side with respect to the inner support plat 133 which will be described later and the lower inner cover 132 positioned at the lower side.
  • the inner cover 131 is slide-inserted into the interior of the outer cover 111 (for this, the inner cover 131 might have a narrower width and shorter length and height than the outer cover 111 ) and can formed of a cover part formed in various shapes such as a pentagonal shape in addition to a hexagonal shape as long as the rotation shaft member 115 can be engaged.
  • the inner support plate 133 is a rectangular support part having a certain set thickness and comprises an output support plate 113 along with part of the side surface of the pencil case 100 , and one end and the other end of the same are fixed at the end portions of the upper inner cover 131 and the lower inner cover 132 while supporting the female cover 130 so that it can have a set height (here, the female cover 130 is formed lower than the passed-through height in the interior of the male cover 110 so that the female cover 130 can be slide-inserted into the interior of the male cover 110 ).
  • the inner cover 131 and the inner support plate 133 might be integrally formed by the casting method and might be provided in various shape such as a triangle shape, a square shape, a hexagonal shape, etc. in addition to a rectangular shape as long as it maintains a support function,
  • At least one rotation shaft engaging hole 135 is formed at the inner sides of the upper and lower inner covers 131 and 132 of the female cover 130 and the rotation shaft engaging hole 135 is an engaging hole through which passes the rotation shaft member 115 , so it is engaged.
  • the female cove 130 of the pencil case 100 according to a first embodiment of the present invention comprises the rotation shaft engaging holes 135 , two of which are formed at the upper inner cover 131 and the lower inner cover 132 , respectively.
  • the female cover 130 is smaller than the male cover 110 (at least one among the height, width and length), and the female cover 130 can be slide-inserted into the passed-through interior of the male cover 110 .
  • the male cover 110 is engaged by way of the rotation shaft engaging hole 135 of the female cover 130 and the rotation shaft member 115 , so the male cover 110 and the female cover 130 are engaged and can be rotated in the clockwise direction and the counterclockwise direction.
  • one male cover 110 and two female covers 130 can be engaged in such a way that they can rotate by way of the rotation shaft member 115 and the rotation shaft engaging hole 135 .
  • the male cover 110 comprises a first rotation shaft member 115 a, a second rotation shaft member 115 b, a third rotation shaft member 115 c and a fourth rotation shaft member 115 d.
  • the female cover 130 has features in that the inner cover 131 comprises a first rotation shaft engaging hole 135 a, a second rotation shaft engaging hole 135 b, a third rotation shaft engaging hole 135 c and a fourth rotation shaft engaging hole 135 d.
  • the female cover 130 positioned at the right lower side with respect to the male cover 110 is referred to the first female cover 130 a, and the female cover 30 positioned at the left upper side is referred to the second female cover 130 b.
  • the protrusions protruded from the right portion with respect to the plane of the male cove 110 namely, the first rotation shaft member 115 a and the third rotation shaft member 115 c are engaged to the engaging holes formed at the left portion of the first female cover 130 a, namely, the second rotation shaft engaging hole 135 b and the fourth rotation shaft engaging hole 135 d, so the male cover 110 and the first female cover 130 a are engaged and can be rotate in the clockwise direction and the counterclockwise direction.
  • the protrusion protruded from the left shaft portion of the male cover 110 namely, the second rotation shaft member 115 b and the fourth rotation shaft member 115 d are engaged to the engaging holes formed at the right portion of the second female cover 130 b, namely, the first rotation shaft engaging hole 135 a and the third rotation shaft engaging hole 135 c, so the male cover 110 and the second female cover 130 b are engaged and can be rotated in the clockwise direction and the counterclockwise direction.
  • the user of the pencil case 100 can engage so that it can rotate along with the another male cover 110 by sliding it the first female cover 130 a in the rightward direction and can sequentially engage so that it can rotate along with another male cover 110 by sliding the second female cover 130 b in the leftward direction, so the length of the pencil case 100 can be prolonged.
  • the male cover 110 to the female cover 130 are partially engaged or disengaged from the pencil case 100 to which are sequentially engaged a plurality of the male covers 110 and a plurality of the female covers 130 , so the length of the pencil case 100 can be reduced if it is necessary.
  • the whole shape, size and length of the pencil case 100 can be adjusted by adjusting the widths, depths, lengths and shapes of the male cover 110 or the female covers 130 .
  • FIG. 8 is a view illustrating a use state illustrating a procedure that a partial block is additionally engaged in the pencil case 100 according to a first embodiment of the present invention.
  • the user of the pencil case 100 having the above-mentioned engaging principle can easily disengage the engagement of the male cover 110 and the female cover 130 of the pencil case 100 in which a plurality of the male covers 110 and a plurality of the female covers 130 are sequentially engaged (if the male covers 110 or the female covers 130 are made of elastic materials, the engagement can be easily disengaged by pressing inwardly both sides of the male cover 110 ).
  • a plurality of the male covers 110 and a plurality of the female covers 130 belonging to the pencil case 100 comprise the rotation shaft member 115 and the rotation shaft engaging hole 135 , so even when parts of the male covers 110 and the female covers 130 belonging to the pencil case 100 are engaged, disengaged or disassembled, the shape and function of the pencil case 100 can be maintained and can be continuously used (provided that, the whole length of the pencil case 100 becomes shorter than before part of the block is disengaged).
  • the user of the pencil case 100 can use the pencil case 100 prolonged longer than the previous length with the aid of the engagement by inserting the block formed of a new male cover 110 and a female cover 130 into the previous pencil case 100 after the engagement of the male cover 110 and the female cover 130 is disengaged.
  • the male covers 110 and the female cover 130 belonging to the pencil case 100 can be separately manufactured and sold, the user can assembly various pencil cases 100 depending on the user's desire, and it is advantageous for a manufacturer or a seller to provide or sell, in a form of one product, a block formed of a new male cover 110 and a female cover 130 on which various logos, patterns and colors are printed after the finished pencil case 100 is sold.
  • the block shape one end or the other end of which is blocked can be separately manufactured and sold like the lid pad 150 and the sealing part 170 by hanging the shape, pattern, colors, etc., so it is possible to create a new value of the production.
