In a glove of the characterdescribed, means for connecting adjacent edges of certain parts of the glove together, said means including a binding strip, an over seam extending through part of the binding strip and through adjacent edges of the glove, said over seam binding the three parts firmly together with the bound part arranged exteriorly of the glove, and a second seam extending through the opposite edge of said binding member and through said adjacent edges of the glove for securing said second edge in place whereby the binding member is maintained in a straddling position over adjacent edges of the glove and most of the over seam for strengthening the glove and protecting the over seam.
