This invention relates to containers and more particularly to devices for carrying railway tickets and the like.

In localities where street railways issue transportation tickets in strips it is desirable that some means be provided for con veniently carrying such tickets, or else they may be lost or possibly torn.

It is therefore an object of this invention :3 to provide a container for tickets which may be conveniently carried in a vest pocket.

A further object of the invention is the provision of a container for tickets having means for readily extracting a ticket.

Referring to the drawings, the container is shown to comprise a casing 7 having a border 8 at its upper edge. Fixed to one face of the casing 7 is a spring clip 9 having a ball extremity 10 to hold the container in a persons pocket.

The casing 7 has a small integral housing 11 fixed to one of its faces and a shaft 12 is journalled in the housing 11 and in a lug 13 integral with the casing 7 The outer end of the shaft 12 is provided with a handle 14 to facilitate turning the shaft. As will be seen in Figure 6, a star wheel 15 is fixed to shaft 12 and the points of the wheel are adapted to grip a ticket 16 which may be in i the container.
