IMPROVEMENT IN BUCKLES.

To all whom'it may concern:

Be it known that I, LORIN F. JUDD, of New Britain, in the county of Hartford and State of Connecticut, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Buckles, of whichthe following is a specification My invention consists of the peculiar formation of the buckle-to wit, forming the ring or loop of one piece of wire, with its'ends abutting at the side to which the tongue is to be hung, then inclosing said ends in a tube and fastening the tube thereon by forming the eye of the tongue around it, all as hereinafter described. I

- In the accompanying drawing, Figure l is a side elevation of a buckle which embodies my invention. Fig. 2 is a side elevation of a detached part thereof, to wit, the loop; and

I form the body A of thebuckle of wire The combination of the body A, the tube B surrounding its abutting ends, and the tongue 0, with its eye formed around the tube, all substantially as described, and for the purpose set forth.
