This invention relates to ladies wearing apparel and more especially to lingerie holders.
It is an object of the present invention to provide a simple, all-metal lingerie holder of durable construction and yet of low cost.
A further object is to provide a holder of this class which is wholly devoid of fabric or cloth elements which are known to become quickly soiled when in use.
A further object is to provide'a lingerie holder incorporating means to provide for its ready attachment and detachment at will and therefore to eliminate stitching incor making otherpermanent connections as by stapling of fastening means.
A further object is to provide a lingerie strap holder incorporating a combination of all-metal members including chain parts and a small snap fastener, including a metallic socket element and a complementary Pin element associated with a small and substantial safety pin all of which parts are well known and of popular character and are devoid of strange features of unusual mode of application or operation which is objectionable in the pioneer introduction of a new article of manufacture. 1
The invention consists in certain advancements in this art as set forth in the ensuing disclosure and having, with the above, additional objects and advantages, and whose construction, combination and details of means, and the manner of operation will be made manifest in the description of the herewith illustrative embodiment; it being understood that modifications, variations and adaptations may be resorted to within the scope, principle and spirit of the invention as it is more directly claimed hereinafter.

Figure 3 is a plan of a slightly modified form.
Figure 4 is a plan of a further variant.
The holder comprises a safety pin 2 of a conventional structure, incorporating end openings 3 and 4, in which hang loops, 5 and 6, at the ends of a bight of chain 7 which is rove through holes 8 and 9 in one element 10 of a glove snap fastener. In Figure 4 the pin back bar has a center loop 2 to which the chain '7 is connected; thus using a shorter piece of chain than the bights 7 of Figures 2 and 3.
What is claimed is:
1. A lingerie holder comprising, in combination,a safety pin of a structure presenting end holes, a bight of chain whose ends are hitched to the pin at the end holes, a snap fastener element attached to the loop of the bight and having a stretch of free chain provided at its end with a fastener element which is complementary to the aforesaid bight-carried element.
2. A lingerie holder comprising, in combination, a safety pin of a structure presenting end holes, a bight of chain whose ends are hitched to the pin at the end. holes, a snap fastener element attached to the loop of the bight and having a stretch of free chain provided at its end with a fastener element which is complementary to the aforesaid of chain pendant from the said element and having at its end a snap fastener element,
complementary to the first mentioned element.
4. A lingerie holder having a safety pin, a chain attached to the safety pin and to a contiguous snap fastener element, a stretch of chain pendant from the said element and having at its end a snap fastener element complementary to the first mentioned element; the back bar of the pin having a loop to which the chain end is attached.
