IMPROVEMENT IN TOY BELLS.
Specification forming partof Letters Patent N0. 180, E96, dated J uly 25, 1876; application filed March 2, 1876.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I,LEV1 D. BUTLER, of East Hampton, in the county of Middlescx and State of Connecticut, have invented a new Improvement in Toy Bells; and 1 do herebydeclare the following, when taken in connection with the accompanying drawings and the letters of reference marked thereon, to be a full, clear, and exact description of the same, and which said drawings constitutepart of this specification, and represent in Figure 1, front view; Fig. 2, vertical section; v p
This invention relates to that class of trundling toys which have a bell combined there-- with; and it consists in a sphere mounted on two wheels, so that the sphere and wheels re volve together, combined with a loose spherical bell within the said sphere, so that the revolving of the sphere will cause the said bell to tumble within the sphere.
A is a spherical shell, which may be made of any suitable metal, and is preferably perforated. This is mounted upon two wheels,
a-trundling toy having a bell combined therewith, which is caused to sound by the trundling, as such I am aware is not new; but
