IMPROVEMENT IN CHRISTMAS-TREE` BRACKETS.
Specitication forming part of Letters Patent No. 178,603, dated June 13, 1876; application filed May 22, 1876.
To all lwhom it may concern:
Be it known that I, AUGUST DAHLER, of the city, county, and State of New York, have invented a new and Improved Christmas-Tree Bracket., of which the following is a specitication:
In the accompanying drawing, Figure l represents a side elevation of my improved Christmas-tree bracket, andl Fig. 2 a top View of the same.

In the drawing, A represents the bentmetallic strip or band, that is made Wit-h a central spring loop or clamp, a, by which it is securely attached to the branches of the Christmas-tree. The strip or band A is bent outwardly in the shape of an inverted U, forming symmetrical arms that are provided at the ends with candle holders or supporters B, into which/candles of equal size are placed, so as to be balanced when placed on the tree. It furnishes thus a simple and more conven'- ient double candle holder than the single brackets heretofore in use.
Having thus described my invention, I claim as new and desire to secure by Letters Patentv 1. A candle holder or bracket for Christmastrees, made ot' a symmetrically-bent central part, with candle supports or handles at the ends, substantially as and for the purpose set forth.
2. A candle holder or bracket for Christmastrees made otl a sym metrically-bent part, with central spring loop or clamp, and balancing candle holders or supports at the' ends, substantially as set forth and described.
