I MPROVEMENT IN CAMP-LOUNGES.
Specification forming part of Letters Patent N 0. 177,771, dated May 23, 1876 application filed March 6, 1876.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, ANSON TOTTINGHAM, of Pittsfield, Berkshire county, Massachusetts, have inventedva new and Improved Camp-Lounge, of which the following is a specification My invention consists of a knock-down frame, with a canvas web stretched from head to foot, over bars of different heights, to elevate the head for a pillow, and buckling around cross-bars by two straps attached to the canvas for fastening it, making a very straps, G, at each end, with buckles. It is stretched over the top bars I of the head and foot frames, and buckled around the lower bars K to fasten it.
The greater height of the head-frame gives the inclination required for the head, and this can be varied by taking up or letting out the straps. These straps also serx'efor binding up the lounge for carrying about.
Having thusdescribed my invention, I claim as new and desire. to, secure by Letters Patent- The combination of the canvas F, having straps G at the ends, with the knock'down frame, having cross-bars I and K, to the head and foot frames, substantially as specified.
