IMPROVEM ENT IN WASH-'IUBS:
' Specification forming part of Letters Patent No. 176,554, dated April 25, 1876; application filed March 9, 1876.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, ADOLPH SCHLINGMAN, of West Alexandria, Preble county, Ohio, have invented a new and useful Tub for Washing- Machines, &c., of which the following is a specification:
Myinvention consists of a tub, which is elevated a suitable distance above the ground by means of legs formed by a prolongation of three adjacent staves,of which the tub is composed.
The accompanying drawing is a perspective view of a washing-machine tub embodying my invention.
A, B, 0, and D are four staves, so prolonged downward as to constitute legs, which elevate the tub the desired distance above the ground. E are contiguous staves, also prolonged downward, for the double purpose of strength and appearance. I
