This invention relates to stocking and sock socket-he shield a is shaped as in Fig. 1, and, holders of that kind in which a portion of if it is intended for ladies stockings it is the upperrim of the stocking or sock is shaped as in Fig. 2. In the first case the clamped fast between two members suspend shielda is provided with a slot 39 located on ed from a (generally elastic and adjustable) one side of the shield and with a semi-circus 55.
band attached at its upper end either to a lar cut-out 1' located upon theother sideof part of the underwear especially in the case the shield at, and a rounded-01f tongue 0 proof ladies stockings, or to another (generally jects forth into this cut-out and extends inelastic and adjustable) band encompassing the direction to the slot 37. The adjustable w the respective leg, especially in the case of rubber band I) with its clasp g is attached 60 gentlemens socks. Stockings and sock holdto the shieldby means of the slot 17, and a ers of this type suffer from certain drawloop d adapted to receive the tongue c'in it, backs dealt with hereinafter, and it is the as shown-in Fig. 1, is secured to the other end object of the present invention to overcome t of the band 6.
