Our improved safety bag may be carried. upon the leg just above or below the knee and underneath the outer clothing. Temen may wear the bag either outside or inside the stocking as desired. Vhen worn outside the stocking, the band 23 'may be utilized as a garter. The bag may also be carried upon the arm above the elbow underneath the sleeve of the coat or shirt as desired. When worn on the arm, the band may be utilized as an armlet. Any suitable well-known adjusting means may be employed in connection with the band by which 'to adjust the same to the leg or arm of the wearer. The bag of the present invention has been found to provide a secure and safe means for carrying money and valuables when mingling with crowds and when traveling on railway trains, sleeping cars and steainships.
From the foregoino` description, taken in connection with the accompanying drawinff, it will be'seen that we have provided a simple, inexpensive and efficient means for carrying` out the objects of the invention and while lwe have particularly described the elements best adapted to carry out the objects set forth, it will be obvious that various changes in form, proportion and minor details of construction may be vresorted to within the scope of the claims, without departing from the spirit or sacrificing any of the principles 0f the invention.
Having thus described our invention, what we claim and desire to secure by Letters Patent is l. A bag of the character described comprising continuous opposing confining walls and an open top, one of said Walls affording a foundation wall for the application of a garter attachment, a flap closure continuous with said foundation wall at the open top, said nap closure being folded upon it-selffto provide a two ply closure, the folded over ply being continued to provide a part overlying said foundation wall, said overlying part being secured to said foundation wallv and reinforcing the same for the application of the garter attachment.

A bag of the character described com-i prising continuous front and rea-r walls and an open top, a. flap closure continuous with the rear wall at the open top, said flap closure being folded inwardly upon itself and providing a two ply closure, said inwardly folded ply being continued to provide a part overlying said rear wall interiorly of the bag,
said overlying part being secured to said rear wall and reinforcing the same for the application of bag attaching means.

A bag of the character described comprising a front wall, a rear wall continuous therewith, end walls connecting the front and rea-r walls, a flap closure continuous with the rear wall and folded inwardly upon itself and providing a two ply closure, said inwardly folded ply being continued to provide a part overlying said rear wall between said end walls, said overlying part being secured to said rear wall and reinforcing the same betweensaid end walls. f

A bag of the character described comprising a front wall, a. rear wall continuous therewith, end walls connecting the frontand rear walls, a pocket structure arranged between the aforesaid walls, a flap closure continuous with said rear wall folded inwardly upon itself and providing a two ply closure adapted to connect said rear wall with said front wall, said inwardly folded ply being continued to provide a part overlying the inner face of said rear wall between said end walls, said overlying part being secured to said rear wall in relation to said pocket and reinforcing said rear wall for the application of bag attaching means.
