IMPROVEMENT IN CAMS FOR LIFTING STAMPERS IN CRUSHING-MACHINES.
Specification forming part of Letters Patent No. 171,921, dated January 11, 1876; application filed September 29, 1875.
To an whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, MICHAEL COOK, of Golden Square, San'dhurst, in the British colony of Victoria, mining-manager, have invented an Improved 0am for Lifting Stampers in Crushing-Machines, of which the following is a specification:
- This invention relates to that class of cams which are made in two parts, for the purpose A represents one-half of the cam, provided with a central portion, a, having a semi-cylindrical recess, the projecting ends a provided with bolt-holes, and the cam-arm a located upon one side of the main portion, as shown.
By means of this special construction each half is identical in form with the other half, and they may be made from the same pattern, and be used interchangeably.
