In the drawing, the numeral 1,() designates a conventional Collar eloeed by a Collar 'but1 ron consisting oi a base 11 Jfrom which rises a eylindrieal stern 12 at the top oi which is a head 13 provided With a small semi-globular element 141-'.

The member 14 is held therein by a pair of 435 spaced spring Wires 21 arranged in parallel and eeeured to the back of the head 19.

Thus, to put the tie 15 in place on the collar 10, it merely necessary to snap the head 19, through the opening 20,-onto the semi-globnlar member 14, the Wires 21 keeping the same in proper position until the fasteners are pulled apart.

Ihre; it may be seen that a simple and novel tie inetener has been disclosed in'eombination 45 with a modified form of collar button.

Although the foregoing constitutes the preferred form of my. invention, the same may obviously be slightly changed Without departing from the spirit of the appended claim. i Having thus described my invention, what I claim ae new and desire to secure by Letters Patent is Y A neel i rie fastener comprising a collar bnt ton having aeonvex face and a semi-globular head project-ing therefrom, a reduced nee/k intervening, an elliptical metal plate adapted to be attached to a rear of the tie.A a hollow cap carried by said plate` said cap having an opening to receive said head, and a pair of l 'aprilie Wires eontainedw'ithin said cap to enn gage said head.
