CERTIFICATE OF CORRECTION.
Patent No. 1,706,835. Granted March 26, 1929, to
GEORGE W. AGKERMAN.
It is hereby certified that error appears in the printed specification of the above nnmbered patent requiring correction as follows: Page 1, line 94, after the word "member" insert:
"18 are spaced apart and extend laterally beyond said member, being snugly received between spaced parallel cars 20 integral with the ring 13, A hinge pin 21 is passed through the tour alined ears, thereby hingedly connecting the closure plate to the inner ring 13. The reiatively wide flat hear ing surfaces defined by the spaced pairs of interfitting ears 19, 20 obviate any danger of the closure plate sagging on its hinges and not swinging true to snugly closed position. The exposed and readily accessible portion of the hinge pin 21 between the ears 19 offers a convenient place of attachment for a. coiled tensional spring (not shown) if automatic closing is desired";
and that the said Letters Patent should be read with these corrections therein that the same may conform to the record of the case in the Patent Offiee.
Signed and sealed this 23rd day of April, A. D. 1929.
