With the above mentioned and other objects in view, the invention consists in the novel construction and combination of parts hereinafter described, illustrated in the accompanying drawings, and set forth in the claims hereto appended, it being understood that various changes in the form, proportion,
size and minor details of construction within the scope of the claims may be resorted to without departing from the spirit or sacrific ing any of the advantages of the invention.
To more fully'comprehend the invention, reference is directed to the accompanying drawings, wherein Fig. 1 is a View in elevation of the pre ferred embodiment of my invention with the jaws in closed position and meeting on a line extended centrally through the handle.

The jaw plates are provided on their inner faces with upper and lower flanges 13 and 1 1, the upper for reception within the flange 5 and the lower for reception in channel 7. As illustrated, the jaw plates are adapted for assembly on the head 4: by :in-endwise movement one preferably. from each end of. the head with the flanges 13 and 14 in their respective Stop members 15 projectinwardly into each vertical leg 9 and the channels en channels.
