BAG-DELIVERING MACHINE.

The objects of my invention are to provide a novel bag delivering machineirom which one bag at a. time may be readily removed and which will not tear or injure the bags in any way. 7 v

Referring to the accompanying drawings, 1'. provide a sheet metal back 1 having outwardly extending sides consisting ot upper portions 2 and lower portions 3 \Yll'll fl median cut-out portion a. I also provide an integrally formed base 13 connecting the two sides.

I provide upstanding curved plats or bumps 16 to hold the upper portion of the bag in an outwardly curved relation to the back of the holder, the members 16 having portions 17 extending parallel and attached to the back 1 of the holder. It is within the contemplation of my invention to modify minor details of the construction of the device without departing essentially from the novel combination of elements hereinbefore described and set out in the following claim.

What I claim is:

In a bag holding device, the combination ot a casing adapted to receive a stack of paper bags, mounted upstanding members m the upper inside portion of the casing to cause the upper portions of the bags to bow upwardly, an arm adjustably mounted on the bags and extending over the bags and loosely engaging the top of the outermost bag. and means resiliently and rel-easahly engaging the bags at a point a substantial distance from the top of the bag, whereby one bag maybe removed at a time readily without tearing the bags, the aforesaid resilient bag engaging means including swingable 30 arm members. plates swingably mounted on said arm members, said plates carrying loosely mounted rollers at each end thereof to engage the bags substantially as described.
