This invention relates to certain new and useful improvements in loose powdercontainers, and the primary object thereoi` is to provide a device of Ythis type wherein the powder may be dispensed or `ejected by rotationof the sifter or by tappingsame with a finger. y' f A further object of the invention is to provide'a device of this Vkind which prevents leakage of the lpowder, and which also can be easily and quickly operated` to replenish the powder supply. f

Still further, the, invention aims to provide av device of this type whichv affords a Combined powdercontainer and rougehold er as a unit, the powder being expelled from one side of the container and the latter being filled y:trom its opposite side, the filling opening being Acovered by a closure which latter is formed tov receive a cake of rouge.

The powder may however be expelled while the container remains in the case, ifdesired. .The container may also be used with Vdif-v ferent sized vanity cases, as is obvious, and in such 4instances rings ltof corresponding different sizes vmay be used. v v

Y To refill the body with powder, theclosure 17 is first removed. and then the follower and after placement of the powder in the body, the follower is first inserted and the closure then secured in position on the body.

Having thus described invention what Iclaim as new and .desire to secure by Letters Patent, is
