Be it known that l, JOHN RICH, of Kingsbllry,'in the county otl Washington and State of New York, havc-nvented certain new and useful Improvements in Flows; and I hereby declare .that thel following is a--t'alh clear, and exact description thereof, ret'erence\heng had to the accompanying drawings, making' part ot' this specification, in whichi Figure 1 is a perspective View ot' a plow made f according to my plan, the-beam being omitted ;v s

Fig. 2, an elevation o't the landside-bed, `andards, and sockets als cast in one piece, without the mold-board and share; and Fig. 3, a back `view of Fig: 2.

The letters ot reference indicate the same parts in the ditferent figures wherever they occur.

The landsidc a. isof-the usual l'orm. Thc bed-piece b rises therefrom and sustains the share and mold-boardfd. It also forms the standard e, upon which the beam is secured .by

means of a hooked bolt takingin the holcf.,

Braces y and ll proceed l'rom the landside, curving backward and upward, to sustain .-t piece extendingback from the bed-piece b.

This piece carries upon its rearportionthe after end of the beam, and contains in ils substance the sockets vi and k for the handles l. lt will be perceived by the drawings that these sockets are cast without setting any eores, and with the same facility as the spaces loft between the braces.
