IMPROVEMENT IN FLOWS.
Specification forming part of Letters Patent No. 147.979, dated February 24, 1874; application filedV August l2, 1873.
To all whom t may concern:`
Be it known that I, GEORGE W. EUCH, of Naperville, D u Page county, Illinois, have invented an Adjustable Duplicate Plowshare, of which the following is a specification:
The object of my invention is to provide a plow with a share which can be removed and replaced withoutchanging the plow-point or having any fixed connection with it, and by it I obviate the difficulties heretofore existing of welding and tempering when the parts are broken and must be replaced.
Figure 1 of the drawings is a view of the share; Fig. 2, a side View of the plow, showing share, mold-board, point, 85e. Fig. 3 is a land-side view of the plow.
A is the 1nold-board 5 B, the removable share;
O, the plow-point; G, the standard; E, the land-side; H, one ofthe braces connecting the landside to the mold-board, (the other brace not being shown in the drawings,) and connecting also the share and the mold-board b v means of bolts. c is a projection or lug 011 the share to engage with a shoulder, c", on the plow-point, for supporting the share.
I claim as my invention- Thecombination, in a plow, of the removable share B, having lug c, with point O, having shoulder c for supporting the share, suhstantially as shown and described.
