And the invention has as a still further ob ject to provide a handle wherein the sup porting bracket will be provided with a bar adapted to accommodate a strap for lowering the vault into a grave.

Referring now more particularly to the drawing, I have, for convenience, shown my improved handle in connection with a conventional metal'vault 10. A handle is, of course, mounted at each side of the vault but" since the handles are identical only one will be described. In carrying the invention into effect, I employ a supporting bracket comprising a body platell from which projects a marginal base flange 12 extended at the upper end edge of the plate to define an oblong base frame 13.
